It is the abandonment of basic Judeo-Christian values that has created this climate. If you look at the components of a civil society, religion provides something that nothing else can: a structure of right and wrong, good versus evil, with lessons on how to be good and to avoid being bad. That is the foundation of our civil society. We have to go back to church and the weekly teachings from sermons. Secular humanism is a farce and a failure. Without a grounding in religion with a guiding diety, moral relatativism rears its ugly head and degrades societal standards. This is where we are today.
The good news is that it appears that young people are returning to church. I believe that the youth of today can be the generation to reverse the decay and restore decency.

The conspiracy theories are very worrying. I remember back in the ‘90s when Vince Foster killed himself and there was the temptation to blame the Clintons. I wanted to, but I stuck with the facts where they led. You can’t give up rationality in favor or what makes you feel justified. Psychosis is a terrible thing. I feel so sad for this family.
